Nonna Cherem of Cherem Piano Studio, serving Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Vaughn, North York, Toronto and the York Region of Ontario, Canada, piano teacher extraordinaire, has been teaching classical piano lessons and providing music education to children and adults for 30 years in the Toronto area.

Most of her piano students participate in the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum and do extraordinarily well in the RCM examinations. Additionally, students are encouraged to participate in recitals and competitions such as the Kiwanis and Scarborough, usually with exceptional results.

Beyond the musical education and piano lessons, students learn not only to love and play the music, but they also improve their self-esteem, self confidence and even their grades. A firm believer that every child and adult is musical by nature, Mrs. Cherem encourages and develops her students to their maximum potential, whether it be through individual beginner piano lessons or advanced piano studies, or in either individual or group music theory and solfegio classes. The curriculum includes learning to love and play music in the classical, romantic, baroque, modern and contemporary styles. Perhaps most important, Mrs. Cherem emphasizes proper technique and development of style from the very beginning.
